Zen Open Circle meets for Zazen (sitting and walking meditation) every Friday night at the Buddhist Library in Camperdown, Sydney. Zazen helps you develop the ability to settle the mind and enquire directly and deeply into your life and the actual nature of reality.

Weekly practice sessions are vital to developing and sustaining a daily practice of 20-30 minutes or more, and honing an ever more instinctive and subtle reflex of calm, practiced awareness in response to what life throws up.
More about the Zen form we practice...
Throughout the year we offer occasional Sunday Zazenkais (Days of Mindfulness) and Koan seminars open to all who have been sitting regularly. Our Sunday program offers a rare chance for some extended meditation time, supported by a Dharma talk and discussion or a playful, interactive Koan seminar. We bring lunch to share, so these events are a great chance to really get to know your fellow meditators. |
